Another Book Sale Coming Soon! Mark Your Calendar!
The Friends of the San Diego Public Library will be hosting its next book sale
at the University Heights Branch Library 4193 Park Blvd (at Howard Ave), San Diego 92103.
There will be a large selection of books in all genres priced to sell! Please note:
- Entire sales area will be open!
- The Sunday sale will include the opportunity to buy books by the bag for those who have one of our special logo FSDPL teal book sale tote bags — $5 per fill; unlimited fills! Tote bags are available for purchase.
Over 3000 Sq Ft — Most books just $1
All proceeds benefit San Diego Public Libraries
We welcome your tax-deductible donations of books and media, and can accept them on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 AM – 12 noon or by appointment. If you would like to discuss a special donation or make an appointment, please email booksale@friendsofsdpl.org or call (619) 542-1724.
Note: Our outdoor donation boxes are open.

Book Sale dates for 2026 are the following Saturdays (9 AM – 2 PM beginning in February) and Sundays (12 PM – 3 PM):
