Current Bylaws of the Friends of the San Diego Public Library

 

 

The most recent major revision of the corporate FSDPL Bylaws were made at the 45th Annual Meeting which was held on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Substantive changes to the Bylaws centered on the following:

  • Reduced verbiage (bylaws reduced from 21 pages to 8 pages)
  • Rearrangement to logical order
  • Consistency and improved definition of terms
  • Elimination of obsolete provisions
  • Streamlining of procedures
  • Specification of duties
  • Ease of future amendment
