The Friends of the San Diego Public Library (FSDPL) hosts a weekend-long Power Book Sale on
the 3rd Saturday of every month, the previous Friday (for FSDPL members only), and the following Sunday on the
lower level of the University Heights Branch Library.
Browse for amazing bargains in our 3000 square foot used bookstore of well-organized books of all genres plus CDs,
DVDs, records, and sheet music.
The University Heights Branch Library is located at 4193 Park Boulevard, in San Diego, at Howard Avenue
next to the Sprouts market parking lot.
Please enter through the gate at the rear of the library.

The Friday book sale, 3 PM to 6 PM, is reserved for members of the FSDPL only.
Members must present a current FSDPL corporate or chapter membership card in order to gain entry to the sale.
Non-members may gain immediate entry by joining the FSDPL or one of its chapters by applying for membership
and paying the required dues at the door.
Saturday book sale hours are 8 AM to 3 PM.
The Saturday sale is open to the general public.
The Sunday sale, also open to the general public from noon to 4 PM,
features additional specials and Books by the Bag!
The Book Sale is co-chaired by volunteers Vickie Church and Judy Kravetz.

We are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to noon to receive donations as well as on the 3rd Saturday of every month
during book sale hours.

We also have a 24/7 book donation dropbox.
Look for the brightly colored dropbox on the Howard Avenue side of the University Heights Branch Library.
Donations are tax-deductible, and we are happy to provide receipts.
