2022 Annual Meeting of the FSDPL
The 43rd Annual Meeting of the Friends of the San Diego Public Library (FSDPL) was held on the morning of Saturday, May 14, 2022. The most recent major revision of the corporate FSDPL Bylaws occurred in 2017.
Due to subsequent changes in the California code governing nonprofits as well as in circumstances,
a few additional changes to the bylaws are recommended by the FSDPL board at this time.
The Friends' Board of Directors voted to present the proposed revision of certain sections of the bylaws
to the members of the Friends at the May 2022 annual meeting for approval.

A copy of the proposed Bylaw revisions may be viewed by clicking the following link: A side-by-side comparison of the current (2017) and proposed (2022) Bylaw revision sections may be viewed by clicking the following link: VOTING ON FRIENDS OF THE SAN DIEGO PUBLIC LIBRARY REVISED BYLAWS: 2022 dues-paying members and Life Members of Friends of the Library chapters which are Affiliate Chapters (see below for a list of Affiliate Chapters) of the Friends of the San Diego Public Library (FSDPL) are also members of FSDPL. Members in good standing are entitled to vote on the revision to the FSDPL bylaws at our annual meeting. Affiliate Chapters of the Friends of the San Diego Public Library are: Balboa, Benjamin/Allied Gardens, Beckwourth, Carmel Mountain, Carmel Valley, Central, City Heights, Clairemont, College-Rolando, Kensington-Normal Heights, Linda Vista, Logan Heights, Malcolm X/Valencia Park, Mira Mesa, Mission Hills-Hillcrest, North Clairemont, North Park, North University Community, Oak Park, Ocean Beach, Otay Mesa, Pacific Beach, Paradise Hills, Point Loma, Rancho Peñasquitos, San Carlos, San Ysidro, Scripps Ranch, Serra Mesa-Kearny Mesa, Skyline Hills, Tierrasanta, University Community, University Heights. An important part of every Annual Meeting is the election of Officers and Directors. The 2022 Annual Meeting is no exception.
